You might be curious about the term "First 100th." This is a systematic approach I've developed to guide your writing journey toward success over the next 100 days.
The First 100th consists of a 100-day plan where you publish one article each day, following two simple steps.
So here’s the mantra: "100 days, 100 articles, $100 a day."
Are you ready to embark on your First 100th?
I've divided this process into two manageable steps: "Content 25" and "Project 75." Prepare for an intense yet rewarding challenge.
Content 25
Let's kick things off with "Content 25."
Following your first article, this step is crucial for laying a solid groundwork for your writing career.
Here’s how you can establish that foundation: After completing your first piece, open Google Docs or any note-taking application and jot down 25 article ideas. Don't overthink it—simply write whatever comes to mind.
Consider your passions: it could relate to personal experiences, books you adore, films you've seen, or even YouTube videos you've watched. Focus on topics that excite you without worrying about audience reactions.
Once you've compiled your list of 25 ideas, commit to writing one article each day for the next 25 days. This phase is designed to cultivate your writing habit and improve your skills with each piece.
After this phase, you'll be ready to transition into generating income.
Project 75
This step goes beyond mere action; it’s more of a challenge.
I will guide you in uncovering viral article concepts to ensure you earn at least $100 per article. To monetize your writing on Medium, you need to join the Medium Partner Program (MPP)—it's a straightforward process and should be done after your first article is written.
Now, let’s dive deeper into the hard work ahead…
Once you've completed "Content 25," create a new document titled "Project 75."
Here’s a straightforward strategy: If something is successful for others, it might work for you too. Select a topic that resonates with you—be it self-improvement, business, literature, health, or relationships.
After choosing your focus, visit Medium and search for that topic. Navigate to the "tags" section and identify the top writers in that genre. Follow at least 15 to 20 of them, and make a list.
Next, examine their profiles and utilize a Chrome extension to discover their most popular articles from the last six months.
Compile these articles into your "Project 75" document. If each writer has around 7 to 10 highly acclaimed articles, this process can yield 200 article ideas.
From this collection, select 75 article topics.
The next step is to read one article from your "Project 75" list every day and rework it in your unique style. Use these articles as inspiration rather than direct templates.
For example, if you find an article about "How to Make Money Selling AI Art" that is trending, create your own version with a twist, like "How to Make Money Selling AI T-shirts."
This method can yield impressive results—my version received over 6,000 views!
Now, apply this technique to all 75 ideas over the next 75 days. I assure you, you’ll be on the path to reaching the $100 daily mark. Even if you fall short, you could still earn between $30 and $70 daily.
