You’re at work to earn a living.

Both you and your partner could jeopardize your careers for a fleeting moment of fun, especially since many organizations are wary of personal relationships developing on the job.

So, if you've made a friend at work, it's wise to maintain boundaries—or be ready to update your resume with a plausible reason for leaving your last position.
