Everything You Wish to Write Has Already Been Penned

Chapter 1: Embracing the Familiar
In my experience, I've noticed a multitude of articles on platforms like Medium that cover similar themes. Despite the repetition, I find myself drawn to read them, provided they resonate with my interests.
As a writer, I too delve into these topics. Aware of the abundance of existing articles on my chosen subjects (including this very one), I still choose to contribute my perspective.
Why do I do this?
Because those articles were not crafted by me. While they may address the same subjects, they lack the unique insights that my experiences bring to the table.
Consider it this way: someone might order a Big Mac at McDonald's and find it poorly made and unappetizing. Meanwhile, another diner visits the same McDonald's later and enjoys a perfectly crafted Big Mac, relishing every bite.
Although they experienced the same burger at the same establishment, their experiences are distinct. If both shared their experiences, you would likely read one glowing review and one less favorable.
This principle applies to writers tackling the same topics. While the subject matter may overlap, the varying experiences, perspectives, and analyses of different writers will create a tapestry of insights. For readers, this diversity enriches their understanding of the topics at hand.
So, if you’re contemplating writing about a subject that has been addressed by many others, don’t hesitate; go ahead and write it. Your viewpoint will likely differ from those who came before you, and it could very well be the most insightful piece on that topic yet.
